The goal of the campaign was to create awareness of the check deposit feature in the Popular Bank app. Depositing a check using the Popular Bank app is simple, so I wanted to make the creatives clean and straightforward. The creative assets of this campaign feature the Bank’s blue color family and circlers in different sizes evoking the camera lenses used to take a shot of the check to deposit it. The video includes smooth animations of the circles that add visual interest while encouraging customers to skip the teller line and deposit checks with their phones. As part of the business strategy to facilitate self-service options to customers, this campaign helped free up the bank’s staff at the teller so they could focus on customers with other needs. The campaign received positive response, resulting in a substantial increase of 70% in app downloads.
